We create these wooden earrings starting on the lathe. A small bowl is turned and a pattern is added and then painted while still on the lathe.

the shape of the pieces are refined with a drum sander and a touch of hand sanding.

We shape the findings from sterling silver wire and add crystal or glass beads.

The next step involves removing the bowl and then cutting it in half on the bandsaw.

after shellacking for protection, they are drilled and the findings are added.

Finally we have the finished product. Definitely one of a kind, and the patterning is impossible to recreate. Very Fun indeed!
